The makeup brand you need to try next is Coloured Raine! I discovered them while searching for a pigmented green lipstick on Pinterest, where else, and I quickly fell in love. It took me a while to actually order from them since I wasn’t sure if the company was legit, but once I saw my favorite YouTube makeup gurus using their products I was sold. This has got to be one of these best, most underrated makeup brands out right now!
Coloured Raine is a black-owned beauty company that sells dope liquid lipsticks, pigmented eyeshadow palettes and highlighters. Currently, they do not offer any complexion products but since they are black-owned I really hope they are working on adding a foundation and concealer product because I know it will be very inclusive.
I currently own 2 of their liquid lip paints and 1 shadow palette but I have a running wish list of items that I plan on purchasing. I want to give you a review of these and basically gush about how amazing they are.
Beauty Rust Palette by Coloured Raine
This is one of 4 limited edition palettes that launched last holiday season. Beauty Rust is described as a 6 pan, warm tones palette consisting of 1 shimmer and 5 matte shades. These colors remind me of a warm sunset. It is perfect for novice makeup lovers like myself, who tend to shy away from bold colors. It is really easy to create basic everyday looks and baked glam looks.
I attempted a halo eye with the palette and I think the results are pretty good even though it was my first time doing a look like this! Practice makes perfect. But even as inexperienced as I am, I can tell you the colors are very pigmented, the size of the palette is perfect for the cost and I would definitely recommend this. I’ve seen many looks created from this palette on the Coloured Raine Instagram. It looks great on women of all colors!
The Queen of Hearts palette, which is a bit more expensive, along with the smoke show palette are on my wish list. They also offer single shadows so you can build your own palette.
Matte Liquid Lipstick by Coloured Raine
Coloured Raine offers 3 lip products: matte liquid lipstick, lip gloss, and satin lipstick. So far I have only tried 2 of the matte liquid lipsticks and I am in LOVE. 
Ivy is described as a hunter green that will stay vibrant for hours. This green literally looks just like the pictures. The pigment is off the charts and it literally turns heads. Every time I wear it I get so many compliments and shocked looks. The best thing about this is the quality of the product. After you put this one it isn’t going anywhere! It really is transfer resistant, I don’t feel like it dries my lips out when I wear it all day and after lunch, it is still there! I have to use coconut or olive oil to remove it, water or makeup remover won’t cut it!
Mars is described as a dusty rose. I really love wearing this color on basic makeup days. Who doesn’t love a pinky nude? Sometimes I even wear it with a brown liner to darken the perimeter and add a slight ombre effect but you actually don’t need it. This color is also very long lasting but it isn’t quite as stubborn to remove as Ivy. I use coconut oil to remove both completely but neither stains my lips.
I have tried the Fenty Beauty stunna lip paint, as well as Anatasia Beverly Hills and Huda Beauty’s matte liquid lipsticks and in my opinion, Coloured Raine is the best so far! I love that I don’t have to worry about the dark lip colors getting all over my face and hands while I eat and I don’t have to reapply during the day (unless I eat something really oily).
During their Valentines Day sale (ends 2/8/18), I ordered Brick House and Raine Forever. I can’t wait to review them and show you all on my Instagram! These babies were on sale for $13.60, a steal in the makeup world, but they aren’t the only ones I want. 2AM & Vixen Diaries are on my wishlist for next time.
