Back in December, I posted about having the Perfect Puff every time. Well, I’m back! That puff was amazing, most definitely Instagram photo ready at all times, but it was also humongous. Not everyone feels comfortable with that level of fabulousness on top of their head 24/7 so I’m here to present an alternative.
The ‘Tweet Girl’ drawstring ponytail allows you to have #puffgoals but its modest size gives you more realistic look if you have shorter hair.

Right out of the package the curls are very tight and it looks very shiny and synthetic. I would not advise putting it on your head like this, it won’t look real at all! I used my fingers and a wide tooth comb to rake through the curls and add some frizz. This toned down the shine, made the brown streaks stand out and it added a nice volume to the puff. Now it looks like an old twist out that has been pulled into a puff.
Like the Jumbo ponytail, it’s easy to apply. Simply put your own hair into a small bun and put the ponytail on top. Secure the ponytail to your head with the attached combs and pull the string tight. My only complaint is that because if the puff’s small size, there isn’t much material to cover your hair. I had my hair straightened when I wore it so I was able to attach it just fine but if your hair is thick or in its natural state, you might have a tough time getting it on securely. I used a few extra bobby pins around the base of my ponytail to make it extra secure.
I think it looks good on its own but it also looks really good with a head wrap. I will be wearing this baby out for sure! Click here to see the mega Puff I mention at the beginning of this post.
