This week I’ve been reflecting on parenthood and child-rearing. While on Pinterest, searching for home decor ideas, I realized that raising kids really is like a DIY project from Pinterest. It looks so cute online, right? Has a lot of shares, so many people are doing it and making it look so easy! The supplies you need seem easy to find and fun to do. Egg, sperm, then shake & bake at 98 degrees for 9 months and then boom here is your Pinterest baby! The thing is, like all Pinterest Projects, you’re never really done. The instructions you get aren’t really helpful unless you have the same exact items, circumstances, and situations they do, so you have to improvise a lot and hope for the best. You usually end up searching for more help and end up finding many sources of information, some reliable and some not. But no matter how much you mess up, you love your little project and find the best angles to photograph it from.
So here’s to my two Pinterest Projects! I wouldn’t trade them for all of the chalk paint covered mason jar centerpieces in the world!
Cute! Then you find yourself back on Pinterest looking for stuff for your “little DIY Pinterest projects” for birthdays, Christmas, Easter, etc.. #pinterestlife 😝
it’s a never ending cycle LOL
