In my recent blog post, “How to Find Your Personal Style After 30,” we explored general fashion tips and where to shop. Today, let’s dive into finding outfit inspiration. There are many ways to get inspired! Some people love to mimic celebrities and influencers on social media, while others find ideas from store mannequins or ads. Personally, I love finding my style inspiration on Pinterest! It’s been one of my top two favorite ‘social media’ apps for years and has never let me down.
Take Inspiration from Pinterest

Recently, I stumbled across a picture of a girl wearing a band tee and a long skirt and thought, “Why have I never tried that?” She looked comfy yet cute, and it seemed like something I would definitely wear. What I love about this outfit combination is its blend of casual and sophisticated, girly and grunge, relaxed yet chic.
Graphic tees are a fantastic way to infuse your personality and passions into your outfit. When styled thoughtfully rather than just thrown on with jeans, they can really elevate your everyday look. You can play with prints to complement the vibe of the shirt, highlight the vibrant colors in the design with matching accessories, and take the entire look to the next level with your hair, makeup, and jewelry

Sure, you can always throw on a basic black or white tank top with a printed skirt and call it a day. You’ll end up with a cute but somewhat plain outfit, which is perfectly fine if you’re not in the mood to experiment! The fun begins when you swap that neutral tank for a graphic tee. Double points if the tee isn’t fitted. An outfit truly stands out when the accent colors pop just right, whether they complement or contrast the ensemble. Your unique personality shines through as you curate mix-and-match pieces that harmonize beautifully, reflecting the care and thought you’ve put into your wardrobe over the years
With just a few basic pieces, you can create a comfy yet stylish outfit perfect for running errands, brunch, lunch, school, work, or even dinner with friends. If you don’t have long skirts or graphic shirts but want to try this look on a budget, check out your local thrift store. I’ve found most of my skirts there for under $9 each!
Recreate this look with these key elements from your own wardrobe:
