There is always someone in our life that we know really well but is still hard to shop for. I usually turn to Pinterest for ideas so I decided to contribute by making my own Christmas Gift Idea List. Today I’ll be giving you some inspiration for what to get the fabulous woman in your life. This person is a girly girl who loves makeup, hair and skin products, and beauty gadgets of all kinds. This list will include smaller gifts and stocking stuffers because I love getting great gifts that don’t break the bank. I think with everything going on this year, most of us need to be budget-friendly right about now. Below I list out all of my ideas, including direct links for purchase. Fenty Beauty Gloss
Buying makeup, especially lipstick, for someone can be difficult if they haven’t told you specifically what they want. You don’t want to spend money on a lip color that clashes with the wearer’s undertones or is just a color they would never wear. But you can’t go wrong with lip gloss, especially if it’s Fenty. The Pro Kiss’r Luscious Lip Balm is a favorite of mine. It’s a moisturizing lip balm that has a slight tint to it, making it suitable for any skin tone. It’s not sticky and doesn’t have glitter so you generally can’t go wrong with this choice. I really like it because as a mom on the go, I usually don’t have time to do much of anything to myself but this gives my lips a little shine and helps me look less tragic.
The Fenty Gloss bomb is a more glamorous lip gloss. It has lots of shine and now comes in several colors. The great thing about Fenty is that their products are made to look good on every skin tone, so you really can’t go wrong with any color you pick. I love wearing the Gloss Bomb on top of lipstick, paired with a brown lip liner or just bare lips. It literally always looks good.
Both of them are reasonably priced and last a really long time. These would be great as stocking stuffers. You could even buy the complete set for each and really blow the gift receiver away.
Makeup Sponge
Makeup lovers generally like using makeup sponges so this is a practical and thoughtful gift. Even if she already has one, getting her a few more to use later will be greatly appreciated. In case you don’t know, we use these to apply foundation, concealer, and powders to our face when we are transforming into a Baddie. You can find makeup sponges at stores like Ross and TJ Maxx for pretty cheap, but they are of varying quality. If you’re not sure, I’ll give you some specific brand recommendations here.
The original Beauty Blender is of good quality and it’s a trusted name. You can pick one or a few up from Sephora. This brand has also come out with other accessories to help store and clean the sponges. Those would complement the sponge nicely if you wanted to expand the gift.
If you are looking for a less expensive sponge, I would suggest the Real Techniques sponge. I’ve used both brands and I generally can’t tell the difference. A big difference between Real techniques and Beauty blender is accessibility. You can order both from Amazon but you can also find Real Technique sponges at Target, Walmart, Kohls, and Ulta Beauty. Beauty Blender is also available at a long list of retailers but not the big box stores most of us frequent.
Rose quartz roller
Skincare and self-care lovers will love to get a facial roller for Christmas! I have been using one for the past year and I really love it. I mentioned this roller, along with a few other beauty tools I use in my Skincare for Moms Blog. That post is also full of inspiration for Christmas gifts. Besides the benefits of facial rollers, which include improving the firmness of the skin and product absorption, it feels really luxurious to use. I use this vibrating rose quartz facial roller, which feels really calming if you use it before bed. This one from Ulta is really similar. Here is a cheaper alternative from Amazon. I have also seen these being sold at metaphysics stores near me. Those are always very beautiful and unique!
Mini Fridge
Having a fridge in my bedroom is my ultimate first world wish. You might think it’s completely unnecessary (and it is), but hear me out. A mini-fridge will be the perfect first for any woman in your life, no matter what stage she is in because they have multiple uses. This mini-fridge from Amazon can hold 6 cans and it’s portable. I can imagine a new mom using this to store breastmilk or formula bottles during the night when caring for an infant. This would be great to store adult beverages or water next to the bed at night. You can also use it to store skincare products like creams, serums, and masks to keep them cool. The possibilities are endless! I definitely want one and I think any woman would appreciate it!
Loungewear
Loungewear is huge this year with everyone spending ample time at home. I personally love getting pajama sets for Christmas but loungewear is next level. It’s like comfortable pajamas that you can also wear on a Target run! Speaking of Target, I got my favorite loungewear set from there. This cute cropped hooded shirt and matching joggers always helps me look like my life is way more put together than it actually is. Target has a lot of sets but to be honest, you can find them everywhere because so many people are looking for them. If you need pointers on how to find the right set, I would suggest always getting something with pockets, muted colors, and anything with lots of stretch!
Makeup headband
If you or the person you’re shopping for has watched a makeup video on Youtube this year, I’m sure you’ve seen these headbands. It’s pretty self-explanatory, you put it on to keep your hair out of your face when you’re putting on makeup. These will make a really adorable stocking stuffer gift for the makeup lover in your life. Even if she isn’t a makeup lover, if she spends time on her skincare routine, this can also be useful. Nothing irritates me more than when my hair or my weave gets on my face when I’m washing off my makeup or applying masks and serums. This set from Amazon has several designs, you can even split it up and gift them to multiple people!
Face scrubber
When washing my face, especially after wearing makeup all day, I like to make sure I’m getting a deep clean. I do this by using a silicone facial scrubber. There are motorized brushes made for this but this is a much cheaper alternative. I got mine at Dollar Tree, which has a surprisingly nice body and skincare selection. The only thing is, all Dollar Trees aren’t made equal so you might not find them there. Luckily they are also sold at places like Amazon and Walmart. I also like to use these to clean my makeup brushes, it really helps remove all of the product from the brushes.
Makeup organizer
Finally, organization is really important for those of us that use multiple products in our daily lives. I actually have one of these rotating makeup towers and it’s really useful. These acrylic makeup organizers come in lots of shapes and sizes, you can get drawers, boxes, and cubes that come with lipstick and brush holders. I would go with the tower because it saves space and spins. That just looks cool and it helps the item be more functional. These also come in a few different colors. I think the safe bet would be clear but white or black is also a good option.
