Kill them with Kindness…
Last week Tracee Ellis Ross dropped her TERxJCP collection at JC Penny. I was there and tried on multiple pieces. I loved everything but the thing that stuck out the most was the kindness dress. This is a striped, long sleeve, mid-calf length, body-con dress with a high neckline. I love a good bodycon dress, especially in the winter, so it was written in the stars for me to love this piece. And apparently, I wasn’t the only one! This dress is SOLD OUT!
I wasn’t sure how I felt about the stripes but once I put it on I saw that it instantly made me look curvier and even hid my tummy from view in certain angles. I’m used to working with solid color body-con dresses but working with stripes proved to be just a fun.

Simple + pop of Color
This is a great fall brunch outfit! The burnt orange jacket, combined with the brown shoes and orange head-wrap really drive home the warm, fall vibe. The orange pea coat is almost a show stealer but it plays well with the orange and black head wrap. The stripes in the dress and wrap play off of each other nicely, giving a subtle, mixing prints look. Jacket: Nordstrom

Sporty + Mixed Prints
This look is super fun. I added the floral bomber to mix up the prints. Even though the dress is white and black and the jacket has navy blue it almost looks like they are the same color. The sneaker wedges complete the sporty look but still keeps it feminine.

Mom on the Go!
Casual + Color blocking
The great part about this dress is that it is so versatile! This look is extremely relaxed and perfect for someone on the go. Here I have it paired with wedged boots but you can put on a pair of converse and still make this work. This looks screams busy mom who still wants to look cute and dare I say… young and sexy!
