There are lots of small businesses and Instagram boutiques out here, peddling the latest in fast fashion. As a woman creating her own brand and workspace, I respect the hustle. Because there are so many online stores, and lots of them are shady (I’ve experienced a few of them myself), it feels great to finally find one that you can trust. This has been my experience with SM Style Loft. This Chicago based, online boutique is owned and run by Shonda Micole. When pursuing our passions proves to be hard and unfruitful, some people will give up and others will create their own lane. This is essentially why Shonda Started her own boutique and why I started my blog.
But, our stories being similar is not enough to keep me coming back. What really stands out is the excellent customer service and shipping. If you shop online as much as I do, you know that choosing sizing, shipping and the return process are all very important to consider before hitting “process payment”. I have had an excellent experience with each stage in the SM Style Loft purchasing process which is why I decided to do this collaboration and present it to you!

A casual weekend look
“Vibe out” Set – Orange — $32.99
Size worn: Small
This set comes in burnt orange and olive green, which is unfortunately sold out. These two colors are staples for your fall wardrobe. This look is essentially a standard t-shirt and legging set but a few qualities set it apart. The ruching detail on the leggings gives the pants a more fashionable look and the small pockets add functionality that is usually missing from your standard legging. The leggings are also a bit high waisted, so if you wanted you could wear the shirt tied at your midriff and still not show much skin. I would easily wear this around the house as a loungewear set but here I paired it with a denim trucker jacket, white converse, and a brown mini bag to make it the perfect weekend outfit.

Edgy Afternoon out
“Wild Side” Camo Pants — Orange & Black — $32.99
Size worn: Medium
For some the print on these pants can be intimidating but by the end of our styling session, I felt differently. These pants are made of windbreaker material, meaning there is no stretch. The fabric is well ventilated, which is a must for the weather here in Arizona even in the fall. Because the print on these pants are made up of a few different colors, styling options are vast. We chose to create a chic, night time look for fall by pairing these camo pants with a black moto jacket & t-shirt, tied at the waist and matching black ankle booties.
This look is sporty and fun. I love that it is fashionable yet comfortable. I could easily see myself wearing this on a fun date night out to Dave & Busters or something similar.

“The Good Life” Set – Beige — $45
Size worn: Medium
This jumpsuit both excited and scared me. After having my two kids I’ve been working towards embracing my new #mombod and stepping out of my comfort zone in regards to the outfits I wear. This form fitting jumpsuit is not something I would typically wear. When I see outfits like this I automatically think I’d need a six pack to pull it off. Turns out, all you need is confidence and some good shape wear! The jumpsuit comes with a great, matching duster that can be worn separately or with the jumpsuit. We even styled this with the jumpsuit and a black moto jacket. Make sure you check out my instagram to see how that turned out. If you are feeling self conscious about the form fitting nature of this look, you can add a different shirt or sweater on top and give the appearance of a shirt and leggings, use a broach to pin the duster closed in the front or roll up the legs and wear a long, flowing skirt on top.
This set leaves a lot of room for creativity.

Hello dear. I like the 1st and the 3rd outfits on you than the 2nd one. They looked better than the 2nd outfit, although I do like the colors but not the outfit.
